CONFIRMED: Ben Jones To Fight Reece Bellotti For Commonwealth Title

Assassin managed featherweight, Ben Jones, will face Reece Bellotti for The Commonwealth title on February 3rd in The o2 Arena, on a show promoted by Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing and Anthony Joshua’s AJ Boxing, which will be shown live on Sky Sports
Jones who has previously held The WBO European title, lost out last April to Jason Cunningham on a split decision for The Commonwealth title, is looking to claim back what should be his.
‘I did not lose that fight to Cunningham. Bellotti is a great fighter, but he had an easy touch to get this belt.
I am just glad they took this fight, as it would have been very easy to avoid me and look for an easy defence.’
The bill will be topped by Lawrence Okolie against Isaac Chamberlain, in what could prove to be a great cruiserweight domestic dust up.
Also on the card is Ted Cheeseman, Felix Cash, and Joshua Buatsi.
Kaz Evans founder of Assassin Boxing added
‘Ben Jones has a lot to give in this sport yet. Bellotti is a talented fighter, but he has not come up the hard way like Jones has. Jones has far too much experience for him, and I think Jones will end up breaking his heart.
