Darren Cruise will fight on December 2nd, in Dublin, on a show promoted by Leonard Gunning and Stephen Sharpe, at The National Stadium.
The late addition to Celtic Clash 4, came after Darren was unable to box last Saturday, November 25th, in Portsmouth, due to no fault of his own.
Cruise, 27, was gloved up, and warmed up, prior to a last minute cancellation of his fight, due to circumstances out of anyone’s control.
The card itself was running on a tight schedule, with the show being broadcast in 10 different countries around the world.
Topped by two WBC international fights, the rest of the show went on, with fellow Assassin fighter, Sam Jones claiming a 6th professional win.
Kaz Evans of Assassin Boxing commented;
‘It was very dissappointing for Darren. He was ready to go, and he got the news just before 8pm, that he could not fight. He is a great professional, and understood the situation. We are very glad that Leonard Gunning has made space for Darren to get on the show on Saturday, and we look forward to Darren to getting out in The National Stadium again’.
